SAP Interface Development / Support
The SAP® interface here means an offline data interface and an online RFC connection interface between SAP systems.
Offline Data Interface
In the interface development segment, there are possibilities for project development with the Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW).
With this standard SAP application, LSMW projects can be created that take over the data from an external system or another SAP system into a SAP system (e.g. ERP 6.0) via the data interface.
The data transfer process can be batch input, call transaction or direct input, depending on the type of data.
In addition to this highly standardized process, individual special data transfer programs, e.g. exceed the scope of the LSMW, can also be developed in ABAP.
Furthermore, there is sometimes a need in practice for ABAP programs to prepare external data so that they are suitable for reading into the LSMW.
Online RFC Interface
Here, RFC function modules are programmed in ABAP that allow online data exchange between systems.
Interface Support
Cyclic data transfers can be carried out by AGM on request as a service for customers.
Example: Monthly data transfer from customer master records and FI documents.
The data from the enterprise AGM are safely transferred as a file. AGM imports this data onto the target system via LSMW.
